I know we've been home more than a week from our vacation, but there's a little more to share. We really did get to see a lot on our vacation. (I still haven't posted about beautiful Crater Lake or the Headwaters) On our way back home, we stopped at the Sundial Bridge in Redding. It's a walking suspension bridge over the river, and it is an actual huge sun dial! G put his watch up to the time marker above and the sun dial's shadow was right on the 2:15 pm. Amazing. I do have to say that out of our entire vacation, the weather in Redding was THE most uncomfortable. It was muggy, HOT, and still had a smoke layer hovering. We couldn't wait to get out of there!
