Oh my goodness! It's been WAY too long since I posted anything here! Just SO much going on around here! Plus, I've been doing "Project 365" on Facebook.
We took the family up the the snow last Saturday, the 26th. We found a wonderful spot in Grass Valley to spend some time playing around. We didn't have to go all the way to Tahoe to find lots of snow. It was gorgeous!! We stayed for a while and then stopped for lunch at KFC on the way home.
6/11: T was playing around with his new CTR ring, a glow in the dark one. He then asked: "Mom, if good people choose the right, do bad people choose the left?" -- Ah, good question!
12/10: J informed us that he KNOWS Santa is real due to the fact that "you guys are too cheap to buy us the good stuff that Santa brings!"
T wanted to know why some of his friends had paperclips on their teeth. We figured out that he was talking about braces!
10/10: T "Dad, I want to be a cowboy. J can be my horse!"
6/28/10: J: "Dad, what does a sweet tooth look like?"
6/10: When J was just about done practicing the piano, he said, "I'm almost done finishing!"
11/24/09: While we were shopping at the gift shop in Yosemite, J was very puzzled. He picked up an item with "Yosemite" written on it and said, "Mom, they keep putting a Y in Gethsemene?!?" He thought Yosemite was Gethsemene.
11/25/09: T was pointing out that since we've been to Yellowstone, we should go to Purplestone next.
10/08/09: G and T were looking at the plastic planets hanging from N & B's ceiling. G was explaining things about them when T asked: Are there tacos on Mars?
8/19/09: G asked T, "How many fingers do you have?" T replied, without hesitation, "All!"
6/09: When my nephew, C, was visiting, he didn't remember N's name. He was trying to tell me something about N by saying, "The Long One"! I knew EXACTLY who he was talking about! My 5'9" 13 year-old!
