Leatherby's Ice Cream

On Thursday night, after our yummy sweet pork burritos, we headed over to Leatherby's Ice Cream. There isn't a Leatherby's near our cousins, so this was a big treat to go there. It was a great way to top off our fun day.

We all loved our ice cream! We can always make room for ice cream. Later, the kids all literally fell into bed. My boys, Ja and Tr all slept in the living room. It was wall-to-wall blankets and pillows. They loved it.

More & More Cousins

On Wednesday evening, our cousins, who live in Las Vegas, came for a visit. Almost ALL day Thursday, the kids were in the pool having a blast. Their parents were able to go to the temple, one they hadn't been to yet. They returned around 2pm. I enjoyed visiting with my sister-in-law, Sylvia for the afternoon. We squeezed in several rounds of dominoes, too.

Ja and N on the swings. By the time Ja left our house, he was able to swing really well by himself.

Unfortunately, N hasn't been feeling well. He relaxed in a chair instead of going into the pool. He was so frustrated that he couldn't fully enjoy his cousins.

They had also had popcorn, played the Wii, linked their DS's, and ran around. We enjoyed yummy sweet pork burritos for dinner. Everyone chowed down. It was a hit. The kids literally fell into bed.

I have been pleasantly busy visiting with my parents for the last few days. My Mom called me early Thursday morning and asked me if we wanted company, and that they were basically on their way to our house for a quick visit (from out of state)! It was great to have them here, and it was a good excuse to really get that 4th room cleaned up! We had most of my siblings over at one time or another. The boys loved playing with their cousins. My mom's new name is "Hamma", courtesy of Timothy. Those darn G's are so hard to say. We had a couple of family dinners, and then last night we took my parents out to Leatherby's. That was our FHE, and we celebrated Boppi's birthday (late). I'm so glad they came. Thanks, Mom & Dad!
