They spent part of another day at the Kennecott Copper Mine. That tire costs $25,000! Seriously.
That's one of the trucks that uses those expensive tires down in the mine
One morning, they had to wake up VERY early to head up to their great-uncle's to see his airplanes. They got to sit inside the airplane and touch the controls.
Here's B with his great uncle Ronald.
Then, they headed farther north to Promontory Point. This is where the East and West met on the railroad and where they drove in the celebrated Golden Spike.
The boys are touching the plaque that marks where the Golden Spike was driven in. They said they really liked seeing this.
Here are the boys at the Ogden Temple. N was sure in temple-heaven!
Another outing entailed a visit to Camp Floyd. This is where Johnston's Army was stationed and the Pony Express stopped there, too. The boys LOVED doing a scavenger hunt. Grandma said she was surprised at how much they just soaked up the information and loved the challenge. Below, the boys are hard at work on their scavenger hunt.

YAY for FUN Grandma's! Looks/sounds like a fabulous week!
Sounds like a win/win situation for everyone. So when's the next cruise? :)
Lisa
We had so much fun hangin with your boys. C & S loved being with their cousins again.
I must laugh at N's use of batteries.. haha. and one of the many things I love about Utah is that there are temples EVERYWHERE!!! haha. Ok not everywhere, but still. Utah has a lot of them.
Glad to see the boys had fun while they were here! :)
What a fun trip!! I'm sure they will remember it for a long time. That is so neat, that N loves temples so much!
WHAT A GREAT GRANDMA! I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE TAGGED ALONG!
Grandma here: I loved having the boyz for the week. It did take me a week to recover, however! They are great kids and their parents are doing a wonderful job with them.
