J LOVES Cub Scouts! At Pack Meeting last Thursday, he earned his Bobcat Award. He is giving G a huge, cheesy grin in this picture. He's already working towards his Wolf Award full-steam ahead. He loves his den meetings and being with his friends. It really is one of the highlights of his week. He has 2 really awesome leaders, too!
N & B are both in Boy Scouts. We had to drop a pretty penny to get B started, too! It's NOT cheap. It adds up so quick. Since this picture was taken a few weeks ago, I finally did finish sewing all of the patches on B's uniform ONLY to get another one at the Court of Honor Sunday night. I actually sewed 6 patches on the uniforms and sash right after the Court of Honor -- the FASTEST time ever. N earned his Disabilities merit badge. He also finished his Traffic Safety merit badge, but not in time for Sunday. It was really challenging for N to get a hold of the counselor for the Traffic Safety merit badge, much to his frustration (and mine!). He's almost done with a couple of more. They, too, enjoy Scouts and have some excellent leaders. I couldn't be more grateful.
