N right after one of his races Dad & T goofing around between N's events
N has really enjoyed his pre-competitive swim team this summer. Even though he REALLY enjoyed himself on our family vacation last week, he said he really missed his swim practices. He did pretty good. We just need to help him get off of the starting blocks a little faster! He was faster than the other two swimmers when it came to the butterfly stroke, though! Next week is the last week for his swim team. He's very tan and has been exercising all summer long.
6/11: T was playing around with his new CTR ring, a glow in the dark one. He then asked: "Mom, if good people choose the right, do bad people choose the left?" -- Ah, good question!
12/10: J informed us that he KNOWS Santa is real due to the fact that "you guys are too cheap to buy us the good stuff that Santa brings!"
T wanted to know why some of his friends had paperclips on their teeth. We figured out that he was talking about braces!
10/10: T "Dad, I want to be a cowboy. J can be my horse!"
6/28/10: J: "Dad, what does a sweet tooth look like?"
6/10: When J was just about done practicing the piano, he said, "I'm almost done finishing!"
11/24/09: While we were shopping at the gift shop in Yosemite, J was very puzzled. He picked up an item with "Yosemite" written on it and said, "Mom, they keep putting a Y in Gethsemene?!?" He thought Yosemite was Gethsemene.
11/25/09: T was pointing out that since we've been to Yellowstone, we should go to Purplestone next.
10/08/09: G and T were looking at the plastic planets hanging from N & B's ceiling. G was explaining things about them when T asked: Are there tacos on Mars?
8/19/09: G asked T, "How many fingers do you have?" T replied, without hesitation, "All!"
6/09: When my nephew, C, was visiting, he didn't remember N's name. He was trying to tell me something about N by saying, "The Long One"! I knew EXACTLY who he was talking about! My 5'9" 13 year-old!
